Diff Lock Light

Can the light on your dash stay on even if you disengage diff lock and reverse at least a mile to get it off.

it doesnt matter how far you go backwards if you go in a straing line. if you have wound the diff up on a right hand lock then as soon as you go backwards on a right hand lock it will go out. i have heard of people driving backwards for 200 yard straight and the ligh staying on. yes it will unless you spin a wheel so just go back on a lock and it'll go out straight away.
unless your switch is dodgy of course but they they dont tend to give trouble.

I cant get mine to go on ,dodgy switch i think, heard its a awkward job to do
