Diff lock light

When I got the Disco, the diff. lock shifter was pretty solid and difficult to move so I made a point of shifting it between hi/lo diff lock on/off and and it has eased it a treat and now pretty easy to shift across the box.

Trouble is that the diff lock light is now permanently on:doh:

Reckon the switch must be duff, can anyone tell me where to find it?

Disco 1 or 2?

mine was the same, it was because the linkage was siezing up, i disconected the linkage and could disengage diff lock on the transfer box. there is a good how 2 on here for doing it.

hello if u have a disco 1 this is wer the switch is located and if u require a new switch it is the same as the reverse switch..

if u do take the switch out when u put it back in put it in diff lock 1st then wen the dash light comes on then tighten up the lockin nut(the 2ndnut)
