Diff Guard Help

Ok final question. ....what is a Salisbury axle and why are they different to the front ?

they is tougher bigger internals

stronger than the rover ones, so fitted to the 110 for the extra weight they have to lug around.

90s have rover ones front and rear (usually)

The gwynn lewis weld on ones are good for the rover style axle, tough as well

I've just put diff guards on mine. Lost the first rover axle one from the front getting pulled out the mud backwards as it clamps over the diff which had a dent in it and must have slipped off. Since bought the paddocks wrap-around one which bolts on. Rear sailsbury one is easy to fit, wrap around front one was easy but fiddly.

As do Deven4x4 with a lovely HD bolt on pan but ££££££££££££

I have a full axle guard for the front of the 110. Which reminds me. I really must get round to fiting it. Though in my defence I've only had it about 6 months.
