Well I got money for a pair of diff guards for my birthday but Im confused as to the different types and sorts for different makes, models, years, axles etc etc.

So - I have an X reg - 2000 plate TD5 110 CSW - can anyone put up a link to the ones I need please so i can order them - coz its either those or a new duvet cover and Ive seen a really nice one I like

see - this is why Im feeling a new duvet would be an easier option :(

There are three different differentials on fenders. A rover type which is round and fitted to the front axle on all fenders, Also fitted to the rear axles on most 90's. but the 110's have a "salisbury Axle" fitted to the rear which is much bigger and stronger than the rover type axle fitted to the front. Then the later TD5's and the newer Puma defenders had the P38 shortnosed wolf axle fitted to them. this has a round casing but is bigger than the rover type diff casing.

You just need to figure out which is yours. :D

Ha ha bit late reading this post, I could have told you that you had a sailsbury rear axle. As I told you it was the other day when laning( not that you remembered) I was following you looking at :5bsmilielol5::5bsmilielol5:

Looks easier from the pic, just undo diff cover bolts and put it on

Wot he said.

Just give em a good soak in penetrating fluid, they is only flimsy bolts, I managed to shear 2 without trying.
Guard comes with longer, stainless allen head bolts (which are on my roundtuit to replace with propper head ones.)
