Diff facts

Hi guys,

After the most awesome day off road I've had my first diff break. It's a 98 disco v8 disco with 24 spline. I'm trying to get another from where I live in Gibraltar and need to know at what age the disco went from 10 to 24 spline. Also, we have a glut of P38 range rovers on the scrappy - any good? I know of a 92 v8 disco but is some distance away and want to know before I go to the trouble of travelling.

All 300 Tdi Disco are 24 spline.

The P38 RR diff is not a straight swap.

The '92 V8 Disco will have 10 spline.

early 300 is the change over year so 1994
