My 2.5 dt RR makes a new knocking noise.
It sounds kind of like a slapping, increases in tempo whan revved, it sounds to be coming from the top end towards the front.
I looked around the injectors and one has some oil around it that spilled and ran down, when it is running air bubbles appear in the oil around the injector.
Several local people have given an opinion,(big end bearing, timing out, injector knock) but none are RR people so can anyone help who knows these cars?
