Diesel Injector: Thread size of the fuel pipe connector

I´m planning to buy a nozzle tester and am wondering what the thread size of the injector is where the fuel pipe is connected to?

I dont know the answer to your question off the top of my head, however a decent injector test rig should come with all the sizes you are likely to need. Also most diesels, built in britain at any rate, during the 60's - 80's are likely to all have the same basic injectors anyway. It tends to be the nozzles, pintles and spring rates that differ.

Have a look for an "injectester" Its a brilliant bit of kit f you can get your hands on one. Allows you to set the nozzles etc while the engine is running.

1/4" BSP rings a bell (may be 3/8" but will almost certainly be BSP)

I've just dug out an old injector and can confirm that it is 1/4" BSP
