Hi everyone, looks like my s111 is leaking diesel into the sump:(, is there a quick fix or is it a big job, i,m going for a 200di/tdi conversion next yeare so dont want to spend a fortune on my 2.25 door stop. Its not leaking loads in but after a month it .s noticable on the dipstick, i dont fancy going beserk on its own engine oil and grenading itself( be fun to watch tho ).
cheers
Dave

I'm willing to be corrected, but years ago I had a similar experience. In fact I was recovered home because there was apparently a massive oil leak underneath somewhere. It turned out to be a split diaphragm in the diesel lift pump, which allowed diesel into the sump and sump oil into the fuel. It was an easy fix, but frightening at the time.
