Hi all, can anyone tell me if I can drain the water from the fuel filter and fuel sedimenter and not have to prime the fuel system afterwards. discovery 1 300 series. many thanks.

I see, this really belongs in the "introduction" forum!
Just wHip the water/crap drain plug out the bottom of the filter, if you're paranoid about air in the system give the prime lever on the lift pump a waggle but I wouldn't bother to be honest.

should be ok just unscrew the little plastid tap a few turns till it starts running (only for a few seconds )
tighten it up and just crank it over not a problem
