Im ready to set fire to my shogun *cue endless laughter*

Im having loads of fun with it.

Basically it runs ok once primed but then slowly starts dying, it will continue to run fine though if someone continually pump the priming pump by hand.

Im thinking air leak?

I had though it was fuel starvation caused by a blocked strainer, dropped the fuel tank and removed it today to no avail!

Any mechanics in the area fancy earning a couple of hundred notes? i just dont have the time to be messing around with it!

the filter heads with push type pumps are notorious for leaking air in,you may have an issue with the injector priming pump or filter in the inlet , you could try bypassing filter or fit electric pump

ive removed the inlet strainer in the tank. if i run a seperate line from a container of fuel it works fine. just cheesed with the flippin thing

I think the option i took with the frontera is your best.

New fuel line and unions from the tank to the filter and filter to the pump

Esp if it works from a container straight to the pump.

I had leaky leak offs post injector letting the fuel run back to the tank.

But the whole fuel system looked scary the solid lines had been part replaced by flexi and what was leftof the solid was rotten badly.
