Those of you who have fitted a diesel air heater in your D2, where did you mount it? It's far easier in Defenders, but struggling to think of a sensible place in the D2. Seen plenty of images on Google but some of them are quite questionable in terms of safety!

IMO if you want to spend money on a FBH you better fit one which works on the coolant system cos it will protect your engine too for cold start and you can warm up the cabin through the heating and ventilaion system, either way it needs the engine running if you want it to work for long cos in max 2 hours it drains the battery below cranking power. IIRC i've seen a case with a cabin fbh unit mounted under the front seat

That is the plan for one of my Td5's as I do have a Webasto heater somewhere, but I can't do that on them both
