Did I make a mistake?

Hi all.
6 weeks ago I bought a late 2003 Freelander TD4 Targa with 70,000km thinking it would prove to be the ideal vehicle for Mallorca where I currently reside. Found this site recently and am beginning to wonder if there is even 1 happy Freelander owner out there at all. So far no probs, took a mountain track well last weekend and feels solid as a rock. Passenger door speaker doesn't work but can't get the cover on door handle off. Any ideas how?
