While in the garage i also changed the rocker gasket as you can see it had ****ed everywhere....
Very easy job to do, three bolts on top of the cover, pop them off peel the old rubber gasket out, pop the new one in, i then ran a little bit of oil around the gasket to make a good connection and cleaned everything up around it..

Don't you clean engine before exposing it to dirt :(

I unfortuantly dont have the means at the moment to clean it up, so i was just very careful about how i went about it and made sure that if anything were to drop in then i would get it right out, fortunately it didnt :)

Cool a hose pipe bucket and sponge would of surfaced ;) just me being OCD trouble is if you do get crap in that Oil what a bugger :)

Owhh, completely forgot about this thread and wow what a bummer of an update that is due; well on the uphand, had some bloody awsome days at whaddon recently. Met some nice guys from on the zone and generally had some great days covered in mud.. Fortunately i am still yet to break anything whist P&p'ing, however

i had the dreaded MOT, it went badly. and one thing comes to another i'm having to change my chassis.. I will update everyone on here and do as much of a diary as i can, it wont be happening for a while as i need to work over the summer on the farm to make some money for it! But the plan is to do a fair amount that ive been wanting to do for a while now. The list of things is growing but as i do things along the way i will put little guides up and stuff, but here is the list a it stands

-Newer 300tdi Engine, (Mines well over 300,000 miles now)
-Respray to Kawasaki Green
-Possible King,Cab
-New Chassis
-2" Lift all around with possibly bigger shocks with dislocation cones ect
-LED Lights all around (Probably not headlights)
-Twin Stack exhausts from tub
-New clutch in new engine

Anyone got any suggestions for things to do? :)

No but two things not to do....................

Don't spray it a ****e green colour, its ****e!

Don't do the gay twin exhaust stacks, its gay!

Try and fine an original colour to paint it, every bugger seems to go for the gak green!

Hell it would look better black with red flames up the side than it would gak green!
