Can anyone please tell me what diagnostic device is the best. I am uncertain as to which to buy (nanocom or Hawkeye)

You will be lucky to find a Nanocom - so the choice may be even more limited than you thought!

I haven't used any so cannot give any real advice.

Good luck - don't forget to let us know what you did buy and how it worked out.
