Hi All,
Well having spent some money on the ELM 327 I now intend to make a tentative start on the control software (so much for waiting for the Poll to finish!).
Anyway, we need a working name for this project so your suggestions would be appreciated, remembering that the obvious ones have gone like, scantool, freediag etc., and the fact that this project is not Land/Range Rover specific but OBD-II. I'd thought of ELMO (bd)!
I'd also like to ask if anyone here is artistic and can create quality vectorised graphics (like a rev counter, temp gauge, buttons etc). If you can and you are wanting to contribute then please get in touch as I will need some graphics for the interface.
In addition to this an indication of the application's 'look and feel' would be good too, as I can only make assumptions on what the various screens should look like.
For those that are interested I am using this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300385932552
I'm not suggesting that you rush out and buy one, just so you know.
In the meantime does anyone have a printed or pdf version of the SAE J1979 Standard (ISO 15031-5) that I can have, blag or borrow please?
