Diagnostic 'GearBox/ABS Output Drive Open' fault logged

Hello all - posted on this yesterday but the post was way too long..so short and snappy this time. I get this fault code on Evo (Defender TD5 90) - any advice on what it means would be gratefully received. Thanks!

Has your defender got abs? If not then dont worry about that code

Yup, I get that fault on mine because it hasn't got ABS.
The ECU and its programme are designed to suit a variety of models including the Discovery, so are designed to accommodate all sorts of options you don't necessarily have. Interestingly, mine says 'tachometer drive open load' even after I've fitted a tachometer which takes its signal from one of the pins on the ECU plug. So the Discovery tachometer must be fired in a different way.
