I seen jem90 in Falmouth on Saturday they cannot make the 22nd as they are away. His landy is very clean I would be afraid to go near mud in it

Hello All

Just windering if this section of the forum will be planning any laning day between 2nd - 8th August around Devon/Somerset.

I be coming down with some friends, and thought maybe for a bit of a break I could squeeze in some laning while I was there, as never been there before - call me anti-social lol.

Probably not, as I will be away at that time, and that is a long way to go at a time of year when the roads can be solid.
I usually prefer the autumn, winter time for laning, as both the tourists and the vegetation die down in those seasons.
Cant speak for the others, though! :)

Haha, I'd have given her a quick polish if I'd have known we were going to bump in to you :D

Yeah, sorry won't be around on the 22nd :( so will catch up again guys, nice to meet Martyn110 though :)

Well the series performed admirably, a trip from Plymouth to Helston.

Only issue was it's still running a bit hot but no surprise, judging by the amount of crud in the radiator. I have some dishwasher cleaning fluid running through it now so hopefully that will clear out some of the build up.

I just know though that I'm going to get a few leaks appearing! :)

I bought my first Landy recently! It needs some work, but when it's in better shape I'd love to find some local lanes. I'm on the Devon/Cornwall border (but in Cornwall, the best side) and haven't found any promising lanes on the old OS maps.

I do need to check the chassis before I go on bumpy roads though :S

Not a great deal in Cornwall , but Devon has some awesome lanes .
Check everything before you set off on the " bumpy roads" lol ..and best find someone to go with .... Go it alone and you're bound to get stuck
You're welcome to join the pub meet at Lanlivery next tues eve at 7.30ish , come and meet some like minded enthusiasts :)
