Hi Mate,
Just remove that particular wore, they won't activate without a serious 25amp blast from an inertia sensor, leave the bags in, saves a mission.

Hi guys!
Heating instalation for RX8 seats it is controled by swiches only?
I put on my Jimny a pair of seats and I am afraid to wire the heating because I don't know if it's ECU controled or only switch, with termosthat in the seats pad. If so, any switch or I must search original rx8 ones? Thanks!

I'm thinking of fitting these. How does the seat base height compare with the original seats? Does it end up higher or can you fit them in a manner that allows them to end up the same height as the originals?
Thanks

To install correctly you'll need to buy a set of raised seat rails and remove the original rail sets from the RX8 seats. Depending on your year/model of LR, Mudstuff sell ready made rails, or make up your own rails to mate to the existing seat box holes and to the fixing hole on underside of the RX8 seats https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/mud-seat-rails . It's not a difficult job but takes a little thought and careful measuring. Follow the install detail in this thread and here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-ro...ilitary-defender-series.370243/?_params=Array

Thanks,
Does that mean that you end up with seats 2-3" higher than the originals due to installing the raised seat rails and the seat itself being a little thicker?
