Anybody used one of these? Are they noisey due to movement in the receiver?

Plan is detachable tbar and steering guard with detachable whinch that fits both.

Any views from experience would be much appreciated.

I just built one into my rear cross member.

Most of the ones I looked into have a bolt in the recvier which you can tighten up to stop rattle while still allowing the drop plate to slide freely.

Not used mine yet so can't comment on actual usage, but mine feels pretty firm once fitted. The bolt is snug to slide in. But then I made my one so other may vary.

Im making that set up right now for a customer !
As long as its good quality it will be much quieter than a db adjustable hitch

i made my own as well with a pin through it and a bolt to pinch it tight,as said above much quiter than the DB saddle set up hve towed a 3 1/2t trailer with mine no probs

pressbrake / baggyjim,

could you post some pics of your work, i have recently done this and am wondering what short of load i will be able to get through it safely - i'm thinking recovery more than towing.

Would be useful to compare your works to mine.....

sorry to hi-jack the tread a bit.

Some pics and prices would be good too if you plan to reproduce. I've got some prices from 4x4 reborn fellas dad who makes em.
