Derbyshire Laning

Hi all,

Seeing as the fender is now mostly road worthy, I was wondering if anyone is planning on going out around Derbyshire in the near future and wouldn't mind me tagging along

As I have said before, I am not a noob to offroading as I grew up on a farm, but not done any laning before

Im still on road tires, but would come along if im free

I'm up for it also, I'm a newbie, can only do Thursday and Fridays tho

im in the area so im up for some im new also so would be good experience for me

Is someone going to take leadership if this trip,

I wish mine was ready I would have loved to tag along, maybe next time if all goes well and you decide to go again.

I am hopefully going out with MrIFan on Wed, so I guess I would be in the best position to lead...would be happier if someone else did it though!

Hi folks, I will put something together soon but weekends are a bit tied up at the moment. If anyone wants to do a few lanes midweek then post on this thread or drop me a PM.

Great, mid week is better for me, should imagine it would be quieter than weekends as well, will have to get my skates on. Got the disco up on chocks today ready for starting to remove the gearbox, they look like they weigh quite a bit.

Hi there like to do midweek laning as away most weekends so Wednesday always good for me and most Fridays if you got any of them free sure could rustle up at least one other landie to come

Will let you know when I get my disco sorted, hopefully will have it done in the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.

Taking James out to do a few lanes on Wed arvo but nothing sorted re start time yet. I'll call him tomorrow and post up a time if we're still on. Max group of 4 vehicles though as lanes are very wet round here.
Apart from that, I can do pretty much any week day with a bit of notice so either get in touch or I'll sort something for next Friday. Meet at the Yonderman Cafe on the A623 (right next to the junction with the B6465 between Stoney Middleton and Tideswell) at 9:30 for a bit of breakfast and a day of Peak District lanes.

Sorry, should have been a bit clearer with date. When I said next Friday I meant the 14th.
Anyone interested please post on this thread. Group size will be limited so places will go to the first 4 to post. Anyone after that will be reserve in turn for this trip or given priority on the next.

Well the 14th im off on friday, never been on a laning trip, im from mansfield. Hw far do u recon ill have to drive to meet you.

I have just looked 30 mile to the cafe from mine, not to bad, i have a disco 2 standard with At2 tyres and snorkal, so looking forward to getting it muddy hopefully.
