derbyshire laning

hi just wondering if anyone is up for a run out 13 april around Derbyshire area done a few lanes round there before just fancy a run out ? if anyone is up for leading too that would be better don't mind some challenging lanes but nothing too damaging ???? :rolly:

where abouts are you thinking? id be up for some but my cars not massivly specced

prob places like round buxton , hollinsclough,roych clough places like that !! ive only got a bit of kit myself mud tyres,underbody protection ,snorkel !! wat bout urself?

Ha hollinsclough is not easy last laning trip I went on only 3 of us went up and noisy had to tow the one infront of me up

ye prob would only go down the one side and leave goin back up the other! unless we get someone with a winch joining lol

Ahhh i remember my first time up hollinsclough.......1 shattered swivel bearing later and my bowel contents in my pants too........yeh fond memories!! lol

corker of a lane but can be very damaging if you`ve not done it before!, done it scince (well coming down the steps which is just as bad, 2ft drops!)

If your after easy laning id give this a miss

been down here about 5 times already and only down the other side once just never up it!!

The last time i went down the steps there was a group of 5 of us, 3 cars had a go going up, 2 got up but had to winch and 1 of those had front and rear lockers! the steps side isnt an easy lane to UP lol good fun to watch but as i gather the locals are taking a keen interest on whos using it latley too

ye gives them a reason to try and close the lanes !!

anyone who is interested in a run out let me know what time you would be interested in going and if there is anywhere particular you wana go just wana get out haven't been out laning since start of jan ! not good lol

Benjimano, we're going out as leaders of the Northern Laning Run. As this is a idea of craigyb, would you mind sending him a pm to see if its ok for you to tag along?

You talk of being that locals want to lanes closed and your on about using a winch to get up a lane, on a public forum! :doh:

Me, Steve and Paul at the mo. Benjimano if Craig agrees. Craig can't play so we're proofing another one of his routes for the end of the month.

If its ok with u lot i will tag along in my 90 its not heavily modded though.

Apologies then, but anyone who dosent like us driving byways could use that against us.

Having driven hollinsclough fairly recently i can tell you the locals are **** hot on it at the moment. There was a gathering and a discussion when we were there.
