Demand Engineering St/St Exhausts - 15% discount to LZ group buys

As per post above, I have been in contact with Demand Engineering for a stainless steel sports system for my 200tdi D90. At the same time asking if Demand Engineering would be able to provide a discount to Landy Zone members.

Dan Dew of Demand has today replied confirming:

1. They'd be happy to use my existing exhaust to model a Defender 200tdi engine exhaust.
2. To offer a discounted cost to LZ members

I have proposed the following [tbc]:

1. minimum order qty of 5x systems based on 1x single order [this will help DemandEng with batch type production, materials, more efficient build function].
2. LZ members pay 50% at point of order [this to cover material costs and ensure commitment at point of saying "yes"].
3. Second 50% to be paid before dispatch.

I think Dan/DemandEng are being very supportive...and I appreciate a Demand Engineering grade exhaust is not on everyone's shopping list...for those of us who do want a good quality system the above will provide a great known quality product.

for my defender 200tdi, it was £300 fitted with a lifetime warranty,
What sort of money are they thinking of for one of there’s?

Understand that there'll always be lower cost options but this is not designed as a price war [nor a discussion point for those to say I can get something cheaper elsewhere]. This offer is designed for people who want a proven freer flowing st/st exhaust system from Demand Engineering.

This will be especially useful for those who

1. have a performance improved Landy
2. have a larger/VCT turbocharger and technically need a freer sports system
3. want a deeper sports exhaust note

This should help those who want to buy a new system.

Bought my 300TDi 90 Demand system (c/w sports silencer) earlier in the year, can't fault the quality.

Thanks @Litch , this is why I thought it helpful to do this. All the folk I've come across say the same...I don't know DemandEng, nor met any of them...but they come across as a small enthusiastic team who do some very good work.

+ today I've discovered that I've driven cars with DemandEng exhausts and didn't even know it...cars with superb exhausts...with Suffolk Jaguar's SS100 and C-Types.

Dear All, here a great news update.

Dan/Demand Engineering have confirmed a 15% discount for batch orders from LZ Members. This is a very generous offer and hope we are all able to make best use of this discounted facility. Again, those wanting/needing a new exhaust system just need to add their details to the first post.

As example, the 300tdi full Sports System standard cost is £516.00 [incl VAT]. With 15% discount will reduce to £438.60 [inc VAT] giving a £77.40 saving. At any time of the year this cost saving should be greatly received.

Pls note this is not exclusive to Defender owners but also open to all Land Rover Landy Zone models.
