Hello from a new member!

I have just registered today and hope to be able to use this site in the future as a keen Landrover owner to find out about events and issues relating to Landrover.

I have had my Discovery Series 2 V8 for a couple of years now and every so often the rear offside suspension has deflated for no apparent reason.

Unfortunately for the past 3 days this has become a regular occurance. It seems to happen in the morning after the car has stood over night and after about the 8 miles of running. I have raised the suspension up full and there are no leaks in the air bag. Once deflated it will not re-inflate unless left for about an hour with the engine switched off. When going home in the evening it runs perfectly and does not deflate. One strange thing is that in the past it has occaisionally deflated when the back door has been left open for more than 15 minutes, but has always re-inflated immediately and then run normally.

I am quite puzzled by what is happening and would be extremely grateful if any Disco 2 owners/enthusiasts could shed any light on this for me.

Hope to hear soon

Paul
