Had a bit of a play off road in my mainly standard 110 CSW the other day at Minety pay and play site. Did some fairly tough green lanes before that and basically spent the day smacking the crap out of everything and anything attached to my landy.

My question is, whats the first thing I could do, for anbout 200 squids, to protect/improve the 110's off roadability? (ive got MT tyres already)

Lift kit is tempting, but all the associated handling prblems scare me a bit, watching my mate in his 2'' lift 90 careering around the roads in the wet was quite funny.

Or jackable sills with tree sliders? Or should I just buy armour for diffs, tank, steering etc?

Steering Guard £ 50, Diff Guards £25 each, Fuel Tank Guard £100. There you go £200 all from Paddocks. Be careful though I have seen Steering Guard torn off and do far more damage than if there was no protection at all. Ali chequerplate on the sills does a pretty good job of protection but obviously you can't jack them.

Thats what im worried about with cheap armour, dont want to cover my underbody with cheap bits of metal from paddocks to watch them all get shredded the first time they're needed!

Would quite like jackable sills with built in tree sliders, but scouting around it looks like Scorpion Racing are the only company that make tree sliders for 110's, and theyre 200+VAT.
