finally cleared snow off windscreen.....check
engine started - first time!....looking good here
pulled away and accelerator pedal stuck down, engine racing so i switch off and scratch my head wondering what could be the cause.
opened the bonnet and found the accelerator cable frozen, spent the next 5 mins working the bloody thing free before i could get going, and what I hear you ask was the urgent cause for such a journey - well it was me deciding that i ought to nip up the road and see if my mates astra could be moved down to the road so he can get to work in the morning.
