They are usually very solid and well maintained, despite being a bit bashed around the edges.
the wolf is very heavy duty compared to a civvy landy, to name a few it has a reinforced chassis, hd suspension, reinforced loadbay, special air intake system, hd wheels. All wolfs have the 300tdi engine r380 gearbox so plenty of rugged umphh. Only 90's have been demobbed, or badly damaged 110's to be rebuilt.

Wouldn,t waste your money on a wolf. Its been in service for best part of 16 years and most of them have been thrashed. Yes they get serviced regularly but both operator and maintainer are not always of the best quality. Some of them will of had a very hard life.
You may occasionally get a fresh one (we have a TA wolf that looks almost brand new wea less than 30k on clock in the work) but stay clear.
I'm in the army and I work with these wagons daily so trust what I'm saying....not worth the money

Really depends on your budget and what you want it for..

decide what you want and then set a budget, but leave room for repairs and the unexpected . The market has loads to chose from but start doing some research so you don't get stung. But as I say avoid ex mil wolfs, many have reconditioned engines and the firm used aint done a good job.

they might look good, but they leak more than normal defenders, the windows rattle even more than a 20 year old csw windows, they are noiser and colder. .......even the bonnet rattles more!

Buy a good civvy spec even if paintwork tired, splash of NATO green and if it's the looks u cud add some bits from the jumbles
