Can anyone advise where the ignition switched 12v supply to the VSR is connected ?
My aux socket is a Land Rover installed product but there is no 12v present to activate the relay when the engine is running.

A VSR doesn't have a switched feed to control it. It measures the permanent supply to it, once it gets over about 13v (alternator charging the battery) the relay closes and sends power out to the socket. Turn engine off, permanent supply drops to less than 13v, relay open power is cut to socket. That's why its called a VSR :rolleyes:
 
Do you actually have 12v at the VSR? could be a break from VSR to 12S or 12S itself, they aren't the best socket for reliability.
 
Have you had a look at the battery to see if there is an additional wire/connection on the positive connector. If it is an add on kit it may not be fused in the normal fuse holder. Worst comes to it it may be worth contacting LR to see where the fuse is.
