Wheres the indicators and brake lights cant see them clearly in pics...and they will look for any sharp and protuding bits as well...good luck...

Previous owner fit them led indicators do you think they will be okay they are really bright. The back has a plate on each side of the roll cage with brake indicators and reverse lights. Do you know if I need a number plate light even though there's no registration plate yet

Surely there is a manual for what is required to pass an IVA test?

Ref the reg plate light, I would hazard a gues that yes it is required. Otherwise what would make you fit one after the test is passed?

Cheers

Hello,welcome & good luck

Unsure if that rear cross member needs replacing. But as @marjon has posted the regs which needs a good read.

You may need all receipts for engine/chassis/axles gearbox

who was the frame builder?

The roll cage was built by a company called cage the beast, had a read through and I think ill have to change the headlights make some wheel arches for the rear and two silencers on the exhaust still unsure whether the front indicators will be okay or not

To start make sure all lights have the right approval markings.

Do you have a heater in the truck? Might sound like a silly question but as you have a windscreen you also need a way of demisting it;)

Think one of your biggest problems will be " external protursions "

Good Luck.

Yes it got a heater most important thing! Ha yeah I think I might just have to do what I can and then see what it fails on
Do you know where your local inspector is?

these are quiet strict.
Where is your radiator?
They will check inside the cab for sharp edges & where finger could get stuck.

do you have any ID/chassis numbers?

What would you think could be a protusion?

Read the bit in the manual its very in depth about edges that may harm either people in the truck or any that maybe hit outside.

Even down to the exhaust tip, and wheel arch to wheels proximity;).

Aslong as your cab is standard inside you will probably get away with the interior part.

I am not telling you this but if its not on the vehicle it cant fail, I.E your winch bumper:D as long as what's on there is good at the time standard bumper;)

Good luck and keep us posted, maybe take loads of pics and see if you can get to chat to 1 of the inspectors before wasting any money.

J

Dont forget things like rear view mirrors inside and out, hazard warning lights, fog lights, reversing lights etc you might find you need them also mud flaps on the rear might be needed...
