Defender TD5 Part Q

Hello All,

I love my 2003 Defender TD5 but know next to nothing technically.

I have a broken underside part which I think should be easily replaced (even by me).

Could anyone tell me what it’s called so I can order. (I’ve attached photos)?

Looks like some sort of plastic underbody protection, take it off an throw it away maybe.

Thanks for replying. Do you think I need to replace or is it unnecessary protection?

My 2003 Td5 has never had one, if I were you I would take it off and not worry about it.

Mine doesn't have one and I can't imagine exactly what it is protecting from. Certainly no protection from anything off road.
Might come in useful catching some oil leaks I guess.
