Defender steering box and big rear brakes

Not very much much at all. There is the smallest of lip on them. Pics and dimensions will up tomorrow.
Would you want the hubs with them or you want me to split? I don't want any extra but one of them has two half shaft bolts snapped in it. Discs will fit directly onto your hubs or just remove the broken stud.

Yeah mate there's no need for the huge extra weight of the hubs, I'm on 10 spline anyway

Is that the stub axle in there still?

How are the calipers for condition?

Are the pistons free? Seals intact?

No that's just the bearing and seals. Calipers are great. Pistons are nice and free and seals look fine with no leaks or seepage of fluid. The still have brake pads that have a fair few miles left on them.

Well gotta tell the truth I'm not over keen on the discs.

It's not like they're so dear I can't afford to fit new discs.

The calipers are of interest for obvious reasons but I would like a part number for perusal!

There really isn't anything wrong with the discs the picture makes them look bad!
I'll get part number up in the morning.

Oh ok, just that bad discs tend to glaze over and are useless if the pads don't cut through the rust properly, that's the only bother really.

Also haven't had chance to measure the stock rear discs (which are shagged by the way) on mine to see the size difference or whether they will even fit regards the offset of the bells so all in all it's a bit of a grey area.

Anyway thanks for your time/effort, will be interesting to see if these will fit, got 110 vented brakes in stock for the front I've messed about with a mix of 10 and 24 spline hubs to get those to fit just need to get round to it that's why I'm thinking about these also you see as I will be fitting braided hose throughout so will do the complete swap in one go...

There is no glazing on the discs. I wiped the rust of with a rag before I took that picture.
The caliper part number is LB10PY018AC. On the other side of the same caliper is the number LB10BY064AC.

How is he a messer People haven't got money to sling around willy nilly.
Hence asking for more information, pictures part numbers ect... Before committing to buying.
