Defender Spare Wheel

Hi All,

Looking at getting a spare wheel for my Defender
as i dont currently have one.
Im running BFG MT 33" on 15" modulars,

Now i know that the spare needs to be the same size, but
is it only the height that matters?
I.e as long as i get a wheel+Tyre that is 33" tall it will be ok to use as a spare?

I would have thought so as the space savers that are in alot of cars now are really skinny but are the same height.

It depends whether you want a 'get you home' or 'get you home over that mountain through that river and across that desert' if you catch my drift.

Cheers, Thats the theory i was working on.
Was going to get one with a half decent MT tyre on so that
if i was out laning i coudl atleast get to the nearest road.

In need of a wheel + Tyre

Anyone got a 35" MT Tyre and or Wheel.
Or no anywhere i can get 35/1250R15 BFG Mud Terrain's online?

Also am i right in saying i would be able to fit a 35/12.50R15 Tye to a 15x10" Modular.

Bought myself a Swing away wheel carrier just need summat ta put on it.
