Defender Prices. O_o

Well I was interested to see if Land Rover ever sold Defenders over here across the pond.

1994 Defender 90(?) 118k miles: $27,980(about £17,415)
1994 Defender 90(?) 140k miles: $29,980(about £18,660)
1994 Defender 90 83k miles : $35,955(about £22,379)

Just for reference:
2001 Range Rover HSE 160k miles: $7,980

Wut da fuk?

I don't know much of anything about Defenders but there has to be something wrong with that picture...

Its because the p38 is ****!
Also the defender is iconic which you cant say about a p38.
i think links to adverts are fine in relation to a question, what they mean is dont place any ads for sale etc on this bit.

I meant more along the lines of most old Land Rovers are cheaper then dirt, why the hell do they want 30k for an old defender, rather then just comparing the p38

in england they are cheaper, i paid £1500 in the uk for a 1985 defender but here where i live in the netherlands you pay between 4000-9000 same year and more if its something special

A rough guide is a 1994 300tdi in good condition with 120k would cost around £5000 that around $8000. If someone offered any of us say £22000 for our lovely examples we would snatch their fookin hands off!!!

Brand new Puma 110 landed in the bahamas, cost the owner over $120,000.00!!!! ( 74,678.00gbp)

There is a TD5 for sale on the island, nice with all the toys, asking $68,000.00 ( 42,317.00gbp.)

Mine is a 99 300TDI D90, cost over $30K to land in The Bahamas. ( 18,669.00 gbp.)

Defenders are very rare here maybe only 10 in the country.

Lots of Discos and Ranger Rovers.

You'll get a nice one for that JW... if you really want to get that rusty old blue smoke feel you should have a look at some of the cheaper options...

I bought mine originally for 400quid and it was pretty well fekked, had to do a lot to it to get it to a half decent stage it is now, long arduous road nearly done
