Defender Dog Guard

Hey up,

I thought I'd scored a bargain dog guard on fleabay for £20.
When it arrived of course the mounting brackets were missing and the seller claims that it didn't need any, and that "any Land Rover shop" would be able to supply them . I don't want to start an argument with him as I've got 100% feedback, so the question is : is it possible to fab them or do I try to contact the manufacturer and try to blag/buy a pair?
Its a Trav All guard for a 90 with a bulkhead.

Caveat Emptor anyone?

It obv does need mounting brackets so if he didn't list that they weren't included then he needs to pay for them

Well, told the seller I'd be happy to help him look for them. Went down well.
Thankfully the company that make them were only too happy to help
So all might not be lost.

If you are the seller you shouldnt worry about your 100% feedback as if you have paid for it, the seller cannot do anything.

If they left a negative comment in your positive feedback it can be removed very easily.

you can however leave negative.

Hi, reman, sorry for tardy reply. They charged me 20 quid and we're damned decent about it. Arrived next day. Putting them in, well that's another story......

Cheers vilguy, I ended up just putting him on my forget list.

Dog guard like tha came with my 90, it just had 2 bolts holding it down and 2 big zip ties on the the seat belt points dint rattle and held my 40kg ridgeback in the back along with the lab,

When I sold mine on Fleabay it went for the listing start price, 99p. And it had the mounting brackets. Isn't Fleabay just the greatest?

the one i just bought is missing the top brackets. Im going to knock some up me'sen as Im not paying landrover prices.
