Defender & Disco sump TD5

Can anyone tell me if the 2 sumps are interchangeable please?

(sheered sump plug....ps it was fitting Difflock's Drain Plug that did it...standard torque is way too tight for it)

the sump thread is still attached to the plug thread, so the whole thing spins & has dumped 6 litres of oil out...EVERYWHERE

why were yer using a torque wrench?

int it 25nm on a td5 sump plug?

it said 25 ft lbs on the box the new one came in.

you can help me fit the new sump if ya want...sposed to be doing Brighton run next saturday!

dunno...would be after work...im not too convinced i trust meself to keep the bolts in the right order...or use a tirque wrench properly!!!!
