Defender dipped beam problems!

Hi guys!
Me and my 90 are having a few issues!
The dipped beam has suddenly stopped working. I still have side lights and main beam but no headlights.
I have checked all of the wires and fuses and I have also changed the dipped relay behind the dash, the light are sealed units so it can't be the bulbs!
At the same time the heater/blower stopped working could this be related?
My next step would be to buy a new headlight stalk unit and dipped/horn unit
What do you guys think?

Get a multi meter and check the stalk. The headlight one is prone to breaking due to large current melting the casing and stopping the contacts working.

As far as heater as well, that seems odd.

if thats the case, fit a relay so it dont happen again.

Most likely the switch. As stated too much power going through it. Renew it and fit relays.
Shouldn`t trouble you again.

is there a blue headder behind the fuse panel m8? one on the fire wall, behind gear stick.

mine started to melt with the current + has given me no end of weird electrical issues mainly with the headlights + alarm system but other systems started to go wrong like the fog lights + handblake warning light?
