defender central locking

i have a defender 55 plate 90.looking to convert doors to central locking and electric window,any help with part numbers,what parts of the door i can keep,anything else i need,would be greatly recieved.i want to keep it as original as i can.thanks

May be best to contact somebody who breaks Defenders and they will be able to sell you all the parts you need from a scrapped one.
It will be a lot easier for you as well, as there will be a fair number of bits and pieces required for the job.


Britpart sell door trim panels for about a third the price LR charge, and they are very good. I would fit new door panels and the rest of the parts, motors etc should be fine to go with second hand (and a lot cheaper!)
