Defender Bulkhead

Does anyone know the weight of a new TD5 bulkhead. I need to arrange transport of one from the mainland.

they are lighter than older ones ,about 25-30kgs but size will govern price more

there is no way its only 25-30 kg a bag of sand weights 25kg not even fully striped down, ie no dash ......if it is a complete bulkhead ad say more like 100 -150 kg

stripped td5 arent as heavy as 300 i presumed stripped as new

100kg is stretching i'd say , got 1 tucked away for mine when i pluck the courage to start doing it.
have moved it a couple of times (all be it not far and has wiper motor and all bar the instrument panel ) now i'm a fairly strong old git but even i would'nt budge it if it was much over 100kg

(grab hold in the middle and lean back and it comes off the ground enough to shift it a foot or 2 at a time.

It is a new bulkhead as supplied (stripped). I just need the weight for the courier.

Seeing as my bulkhead is still sitting in the garage loose I thought I'd sit it on the scales. Its from a standard '84 n/a diesel but I'd say not much different to other models.

Surprisingly it weighs in at just 33Kg.

Feels alot more but I think thats just because it is such an awkward shape...
