defender Alloys, sii ?

I am told you can fit defender steels on a sii, but the alloys dont fit, however if you grind a bit off the alloy center bit they do fit. Any 1 tried this, does it work ?

This is just me but I would never grind extra off the inside of an alloy wheel. You don't want the alloy cracking or splitting; and if it looked ok, I would constantly be worrying about the wheel breaking when driving around.

Yip, me too. Just wouldn't do it!

I wonder what your insurance company would say?

Humm, didnt think about insurance. I think its just the middle bit to allow for the wheel nut cover but not sure.

Guess i just hoped u would all say yup its easy,its 2mm and no big deal. The wheels looked cheepish and only 20miles from home. Oh well
