Defender TD5 2002

I’m getting a ‘pump failure 3 ( pumping sticking)’ . The ABS & Handbrake light remain on, even when driving. I did reset it via Nancom, they come back on but the TC light did go off for a while, but is back on.

I’ve checked the front speed sensors and they seem to have the same tolerance/Ohms and Nancom is showing a reading, but then when you drive it reports an error which I read was normal and ECU related. I havn't checked the back on the basis that I'm getting no Nancom sensor errors, the front were ok, so I'm assuming all are ok.

I’ve checked the fuses under seats and in centre console - fuse links as well, all ok.

I've replaced the ABS Pump relay under the drivers seat. there is some corrosion on the holder and a floating metal thing. I've attached a photo as I'm not sure if its right, or how to test it, as I think the ABS Relay is only activated when the ABS is, and you can't do that whilst driving and test it :)

I can see the earth is in place under the drivers seat. But not sure how to test my earth beyond that. I could run an extra earth from the battery neg. to a chassis point if you think it would help.

Not checked the modulator in any way, not sure what to look for.

Any ideas - trying to explore all things before giving up and having to replace the modulator/pump, which I know is expensive.
