Defender 90 TD5 1999---HELP PLEASE

hi im not paying for parts that don't fix it,they can put my old injector harness back on and my old ecu which works lol,landrover garage said we have checked wire 2 times to the throttle pedal its ok but when I spoke to them today they say has to be a wire fault some where, were on it now,they want it gone asap been there 11 days they are hopeless,if not sorted tomm im ask them if I should take it too a proper garage that can find and fix it see what they say haha.

It will be the throtle pedal connector or the associated wiring back to the ECU.

Hi all update,rang landrover garage today said might found what problem has been,said their was a mouse nest behind dash and its chewed a wire which has buggered my throttle pedal and ecu through a spike he said,mechanic was working on it when I popped in today and he showed me mouse nest and chewed wire said he had tried every possible combination with my ecu and throttle pedal and new wire to ecu that mouse had chewed but would not work so he put new throttle pedal on new ecu new wire and its ok now,then he said if you rev really hard then engine cuts out dies which they are now in process of fixing,what do you guys think could my ecu and throttle pedal be broken off a spike due to wire being chewed thanks.
