My 200TDi 90 has a 200TDi Disco rear axle (4 bolt flange).
I've still got a bit of a vibration problem and I've eliminated everything except the rear propshaft. There's no discernable play in the UJs or splines but I suspect that the yokes are too narrow for me 2" lift - had the same problem with the front one and had to fit a wider yoke prop.

I'm told that a TD5 90 rear prop has wider yokes. Does anyone know whether this is true and whether it will fit mine?

This one http://www.devon4x4.com/products_b/p...and-rover.html is specified for 300TDi and TD5 - will that fit?
(I thought 300TDi had a 3 bolt flange - does a TD5?)

As usual, thanks for any suggestions and advice.

If you can wait until 2moro when its light I'll have a good look and measure it.
What dimesion across the yokes do you need? Length or width etc.
Total length will be from flange to flange on the motor cos I aint taking it off.

That would be great mate.
Length, flange to flange, fitted, will be fine.
I just need to know whether yours is wider across the flange than mine. So if you can just take the widest outside measurement across the UJ, that will be ideal. I can then compare that to mine.

Thanks again.

Have you tried Mondo mode yet Trewey, just to make sure it is that?
No, not yet, but my money's on it being that.

TBH I'm not keen on taking it off, putting it back on for Sunday, then taking it off again next week when I get a replacement.
I'll probably try it on Monday.

Flange to Flange sounds positivly porographic  what are you askin im to do, whatever it is im not doing it on Sunday
:censored:

Okey dokey.

Rear prop measures 28 inches from flange to flange mating face whilst fitted.
Obciously there may be slight variances due to slip joint.

Yokes measure 8cms across the widest part from outside edge to outside edge.

Sorry about the mixed measurements but hope this helps.

That's the same yoke width as mine but seems longer!
Mine only measures 24".

Anyway, it answers my question - a standard TD5 prop won't solve my problem.
