Defender 90 lt77 Oil leak. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi guys! I have a land rover 90 2.5tdi engine LT77 gearbox just bought it 2 months ago and recently I have changed all the oils like front and rear diff oils, Gearbox oil, Transfer case oil, Engine oil, Filters, Fuel filter, belts etc etc.. Before the service I have noticed a few drops on the ground but I've heard that on land rovers is normal oil dripping so i didn't care much. So after the service I still have these oil leaks and they increased a bit more especially under the gearbox sub beacuse now i have a fresh new oil i can assume it's thinner. Are these normal on land rovers? I have calculated Its like dripping 5 drops in 3/4 hours idle. I have posted some photos for better ideas.. Any thing i can do accept rip the gearbox off and make new gasket? Or some instant gasket will
Solve the problem or i just leave as it is? Any ideas i appreciate!

I'd start by washing/wiping all the oil off then run it up whilst underneath to see where the oil is tracking. Brake cleaner will bring it up a treat.

Looking at your pics I would say your flywheel housing drain hole is blocked and as all the oil seems to be black its going to be engine oil and is most likely rear main seal or possibly flywheel housing to block gasket, both involved jobs.
Ps nothing should leak oil, its just an old land rover myth that lazy people think is true!

Thanks I will try that.. Maybe i change the oil for thicker one will this solve the problem? Or i'll just replace with a new gasket?

As has already been said, if the oil is black it will probably be engine oil from your rear crank oil seal.

Get a bit on your fingers and sniff it. If it smells either like engine oil or slightly doozilly, it will be from your engine

Make sure that the drain hole is clear.

Failing that, remove the gearbox, replace the seal, and when you have stuck it all back together again, you will probably find another leak from somewhere else.

They are old engines and gearboxes, and unless you do a complete stripdown and rebuild on a regular basis, you will tend to find the occasional leak.

Do NOT put thicker oils in!!
