I bought some replacement front door seals for my 1985 90 and ripped off the drivers side one to fit the replacement but I've found that the top section is not long enough (by about a centimetre or so) to fit from corner to corner of the door frame.
I tried to centre the top strip to minimse how far out the corners were but this meant that when I tried to close the door it was a struggle... with a bit of force, the door closed but has immediately pinched the rubber which pretty much defeats the object of replacing them as I am sure that's now going to leak.
The seals were Britpart and I think they came from Paddocks but I've had so much stuff delivered during the cold season and sat around waiting to be fitted I am no longer sure what came from where.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
Sorry I've not got pics, as I know that would be helpful... I've been trying and failed to get the photobucket iphone app to work as yet :-(
