Dear all,

I've checked the previous threads and googled the topic to death but still cannot find the answer to my question.

I'm looking to purchase both a 5L tin of Nato satin green as well as 2 aerosols, same colour, from the same supplier.

All the ones i can find seem to do either or, but not both, God knows why!??

I have found one, Untitled Document However the phone just rings out and theres no reply to emails. It does state that there on leave but that was until 16/08/13 - Perhaps the've extended! :)

Does anybody know where i could get the two items and delivered by the weekend, its supposed to be nice and the misses is away so i was going to blitz it!!

Cheers,

Cheers for the advice guys, still struggling to find somewhere though that can supply both. If i do i'll be sure to update, so others are aware.

Marcus Glenn do both!!

Adam, i'm after both as i've been informed that aerosols are a better option for the smaller detail, like the hinges on the doors, windscreen, clusters etc. And to use foam rollers for the rest...

Cheers

After all that i won't be doing the painting myself! By pure coincidence the chap who runs and owns the local independent garage is a 4x4 nut. So he came to have a look at the beast, and after telling him my intentions he stated if i'm going to prep it properly i'd be better off getting it sprayed. His cousin, who's ex army owns a spray booth and he said i could get it done a rock bottom price, providing all the prep is spot on.

Further to that he even said he'd transport for me, free of charge. What a top bloke.

For those that think it sounds a bit like, "oh don't do that take it to my mate and he can do it for you $$$" we've known him and been using his garage for years and he's a proper top bloke.

Pics and details please

Right,

Just had a quote from the chap for a full on, all singing, all dancing, inside and out paint job including bumpers, arches etc.. and all the prep. Just drop it off with the keys and come back in a week with..... £1200 shinny coins.

I'm in the process of thinking about it. I think its a good deal, does anyone disagree?

Bearing in mind i have no driveway and no garage, plus given the impending weather i think i would struggle to do the prep myself, properly anyway.

I'd rather have a locking diff, better shocks, renew all bushes and bearings and 'stuff' for the money, but if you're happy it sounds a great price for the work ..

What the paint looks like doesn't interest me ... what it does, does .. ;)

I do tend to agree. Saying that however underneath she's been extremely well cared for and has wanted for nothing. The only thing letting her down is the paint job which looks like its been done with a bass broom by an over enthusiastic Patrick Starfish
