Defender 90 bulkhead outrigger

In the Haynes restoration manual is suggests using a outrigger that has extra flanges at right angles left and right.


See part 17 in the image, i found a few companies with images with the flanges but after phoning it seems they dont have the flanges after all. It appears that the genuine LR part has them but they cost 200+ quid!


Does anyone know where I can get these at a descent price or failing that can anyone recommend the current best ones without the extra flanges.

I used the regular britpart ones and they had flanges. So long as theyre topcoated & waxoyled I can't see any need to spend big bucks on genuine chassis boxes..
