hi, my defender 2.4 puma 2010 has developed a rather strange noise and I was wondering if anyone can shed some light. it all runs and drives fine, having had a new turbo about a year ago still has lots of power, the strange thing is that when I come to a stop - old school I let the engine return to idle so the turbo aint spinning without oil before I switch off, then as the engine stops a noise appears for about 2 seconds that sounds like a loose exhaust - which it aint - but is coming from the area just under the engine ( haven't totally inspected yet ) could this be the flywheel? we used to have Transit vans in our fleet and they all need the flywheel replaced as some time but not sure if this is the same set up. Any advise will be greatly welcome.
