Defender 300 tdi

A few months ago i bought a 2.5td defender, the chasis is rotten beyond repair so im goin down the galv chassis route. I want to replace the engine at the same time with a discovery 300tdi. The question I have is do I buy a defender 300tdi chassis and will my lt77 box fit on this chassis aswell?? Cherds

What do you have at the moment...an indicator lens?

Surely that cant be viable.

Only if you cut the chassis lengthwise and weld v8 mounts into the gap. And sacrifice 10 goats to Mohamed . Course. If you did a search you might get a more sensible answer than mine.

Bollocks only got nine goats. That's where I'm goin wrong. Don't see the point of replacing the chassis and puttin the old 2.5td back in. Utterly ****e engine
