defender 300 conversion

hi to anyone who can help ive got a c reg defender which has a 2.5na diesel engine and ive got the chance of buying a defender 300 engine with gear box an transfer box still attached could anyone tell me if it will be a straight swap. thanks

yes but you will need to weld fresh engine mounts in swap props and tunnel ,floor plates ,exhaust system and hangers rad intercooler etc

Just cut current ones off. Fit to the engine and mark up for reweld. 300 tdi sits about 100mm further forward
