Hi all, really sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place (if so let me know and I'll move it).
I was just really hoping to get some thoughts on electrical issues, I have a gremlin living in the dashboard, so essentially if I turn on the lights then the wipers will do a single wipe, if I flash my lights then they will do a single wipe again... the problem is That it isn't consistent in that I can go on to flash my lights continuously without a problem but if I wait about 3mins and try flash my lights again it will trigger another wipe.

Any help is greatly appreciated as it's really starting to bug me.
Thanks
François

I had exactly the same problem, for about 5 years (I kid you not). Checked and cleaned all earths, pulled the intermittant unit, etc etc.
Nothing seemed to cure it, the problem would sometimes go away after I had been fiddling, just to come back again.
Last year fitted a "Boomslang" type harness I made up to improve the lights and it stopped. Not happened now for about 18 months.
I am guessing that somewhere in the loom there was something nasty going on that I by-passed by disconnecting that part of the loom with my wireing upgrade.

Good luck.

Thanks Gents, I will check over the grounds first but suspect it might be a loom issue like frog hopper, some of the wires look overly brittle. How long would you say it would take to swap out the loom ( for a novice?) Also, I dont suppose you know of any documentation which point out all the main earning points which I should check? If there is such a thing?

Thanks again for your replies, much appreciated.
Francois
