Thanks cowaski, I'll have a poke around tonight and report my findings. Hope it isnt a broken wire as it seems like a rather difficult one to replace.

An alternative way to check the wire is to undo the screw, pull out the switch and disconnect the wire from the switch. Now touch the wire against the ground point and the interior light should come on. If it does then basically it is something to do with the switch or it's installation.

Left my multimeter in the car last night so I've managed to diagnose a little over my lunch break.
I have good continuity testing the from the hand brake bracket and door latch bolt, then checked the ground point in the pillar at the switch with the Hand brake bracket and door latch as well and it all good.

I get nothing from the wire and the ground though :(

I've lost all memory of what is going on now.... So one door lights the interior light and the other two don't.

Did you try unscrewing the switch, pulling it out, disconnecting the wire from the switch and touching it against the body? Did this light the interior light? If so then either the switch is faulty OR there is no ground to the body at that location.

All other door switches are working. It's just my driver door causing problems.

Touching wire against the body doesn't work.

I don't think it's a grounding problem, more so to do with the wire for the switch. However I've no idea where this runs/connects too?
